Material is usually supplied in the hardened
& tempered condition in which state it is readily machineable,
offers high wear resistance and has good toughness and ductility.
After Nitriding, a minimum surface hardness of 750 Vickers
(VPN), equivalent to 62 Rockwell is achieved.
